PS3 2.30 Firmware released today

Sony released today version 2.30 or the PS3 firmware today. The new firmware improves Blu-Ray playback and also launches the new Playstation Store.
I have yet to test the playing of a Blu-Ray movie on the FW so I cannot comment about it. But I can say that the PS Store looks nice but appears to be a tad bit slow. Screens coming soon I will upload them to Flickr and link them here when I do…
Update:
Here are the pics: here, here, and here.
Wow 4 posts today, this might be a record heh…

Sony releases the Dual Shock 3 in US
Posted by trm96 | Filed under Videogames
After a long delay Sony is finely releasing the Dual Shock 3 controller in the US. The long awaited vibration feedback controller is making it’s way to US stores. There were a lot of concerns US gamers were having about such things as battery live and such, well I can say that I have seen no conscionable difference between the life of the battery on either of the controllers (as I have had my Dual Shock 3 for about 4 or so months).
