The save XP campaign (update)

The beginning: I want to say first off that I DO NOT support peoples efforts to “save XP” from the fate all other legacy versions of Windows have succumbed to. I think it’s terrible that so many people fear or downright hate the idea moving on to Vista. I have tried to get it out of people why they hate Vista and every one I talk to (who actually give me an answer) say pretty much the same thing: “I don’t like the way [insert something here] looks”, “it does not support my devices” “I just like XP better, it is easier to use”. IMHO these aren’t very good reasons to completely shun an OS for. If you have reasons please post them in the comments, I would love to hear them. Be warned however I will not accept lame reasons, and also please explain your reasons in detail…

Windows XP SP3 RTW delayed

Microsoft has delayed the release to web (RTW) of Windows XP Service Pack 3 saying “In the last few days, we have uncovered a compatibility issue between Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) and SP3 both Windows XP and Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1). In order to make sure customers have the best possible experience, we have decided to delay releasing Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) to the web.”

The first Mac clones ship (proof)

As some of you may have heard by now a company by the name of Psystar was claiming to have created the first modern Mac clone. There has been questions as to the fact that they could even produce the thing not to mention  questions if  the company  actually  was legit. Well today a video has come to life proving that the “Mac clone” is not only real but so is the company.

Vista SP1 rolls out and so do the complaints.

As some of you know Vista’s Service Pack 1 rolled out yesterday and right along with it so to did the complaints about it. Some people are saying that SP1 has made their computer unstable claiming BSODs for those who were able to install it in the first place. All this negative press is not earning Microsoft any gold stars.
