Ahhh April fools day…

I never really got into the whole April fools day thing, every one kinda expects to be fooled on April 1st.
Being board I wanted to find out about how this day came to be and much to my surprise I could not find out much of the origin of said day… Hmmm Is April fools day just an April fools day prank within itself? After google-ing I found this article that gives some incite into how maybe the day came to be, but not much more than a speculation.
When ever and how ever this day came to be one thing is for sure it’s a day that many people do things they may not do the rest of the yearl; a day of playing jokes on people and having fun, witch is not so much a bad thing especially nowadays. The down side of this is that not all jokes people play are funny or have a good natured intent, there are also many “jokes” played today that are harmful or downright malicious. I have seen new and dangerous viruses/trojans/worms be spread on April fools day. People think they are the victim of a joke and actually have their computers hacked (or worse). Regardless of it’s origin April fools day has become a tradition all over the US and maybe the world, so to this I say “Happy April fools day” to everyone on the internet and remember to keep your jokes funny for all those involved and stay safe.
